Bahrain’s renowned jewellery heritage and global reputation as the home of natural pearls were centre stage at Jewellery Arabia 2024. The event served not only as a showcase for design and craftsmanship, but also as a driver of economic growth and local participation.
This year’s edition recorded a 30% increase in Bahraini jeweller participation, a clear sign of the sector’s momentum and the show’s role in strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a destination for luxury and trade.
Sara Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Chairperson of Exhibition World Bahrain, highlighted the importance of such events in advancing the country’s MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) strategy. The collaboration with Informa Markets has further cemented Bahrain’s ambition to be a hub for high-profile international exhibitions.
With over 650 exhibitors from 30 countries and $69 million in recorded sales from the previous edition, Jewellery Arabia has maintained its reputation as the world’s largest B2C luxury jewellery and watch exhibition. It continues to attract global brands, emerging designers and thousands of visitors annually.
Held across seven halls at Exhibition World Bahrain, the 2024 edition also introduced additional capacity, paving the way for larger events in the future and reinforcing Bahrain’s growing influence in the regional exhibition scene.
