The GIA Diamond Origin Report confirms the country of origin of a polished diamond by scientifically matching the diamond to its original rough. The report includes a full assessment of the diamond’s 4Cs along with a plotted diagram of its clarity characteristics, and a report number laser inscription. Visitors can learn more about the GIA Diamond Origin Report, GIA iD100® gem testing device, GIA Melee Analysis Service and GIA’s gemmology and jewellery design programmes at GIA’s stand EH36. GIA will also offer insightful complimentary seminars on various topics for professionals in the trade, consumers and connoisseurs.
“We are excited to introduce the GIA Diamond Origin Report at Jewellery Arabia 2019. The GIA Diamond Origin Report uses scientific evaluation to provide confirmation of a diamond’s geographic origin and helps deliver a strong message on the good mined diamonds do for the country they come from,” said Nirupa Bhatt, Managing Director of GIA India and Middle East. “The new report will help retailers convey the story of diamond’s origin and engage with consumers effectively, while providing peace-of-mind before they purchase a diamond.”
