Russia Pavilion Debut
A pavilion of 6 flagship jewellers from Russia are set to make their debut at Jewellery Arabia from 20 – 24 November. The craftsmanship and unique characteristics of these home-grown jewellers will be on display in a special pavilion located in the entrance hall.
“Russian jewellery brands have made big steps in the world market and are finding global acclaim. In our pavilion you will see the very best designs and craftsmanship inherent in the works of Russian jewellers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yakutsk and other cities,” said Dr. Alexey Shcherbina, Chief, Jewelry Exporters’ Club.
Participants within the Russian pavilion include International Jewellery Design Excellence Award winner Almaz-Holding, and one of Russia’s oldest jewellery houses Russkiye Samotsvety, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2012. The famous Yakutian diamonds will be also presented for the first time in Bahrain, as well as a new device for testing natural diamonds – ALROSA Diamond Inspector.
“Russian jewellers see Bahrain as a successful marketplace and entry point to access the wider Gulf markets. We hope that the Russian pavilion will receive very positive feedback, and welcome a large number of visitors, buyers, and traders. This is extremely important not only for the jewellery business, but also to expand cultural relations and achieve better mutual understanding,” said Dr. Shcherbina.
